I hope you had the opportunity to know your Grandfather. I was fortunate to meet him a couple of times but I was pretty young. I wish I could have known my Uncle but because of Ernie Pyle folks have done a lot of research on him. Riley Tidwell was my grandpa. He’s been gone since the 90’s
